Celtic Island Music Festival (Sunday)

2026-09-20 | 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm    Toronto Island BBQ + Beer Company

Let’s end summer with a great party on Toronto Island! Sunday will be the second of two days of programming for the 2026 Celtic Island Music Festival. There will be cold drinks, great food and incredible views on the best patio in the city.

Get your tickets for Sunday, September 20 here!

PARTNERS

This event is hosted by the St. Patrick’s Parade Society in partnership with the St. Andrew’s Society of Toronto. Special thanks to LIUNA and the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation along with the governments of Scotland and Ireland for their financial support.

The mid-September timing marks two important milestones on the Celtic Canadian calendar. For those with Irish connections, it begins a six month countdown to the 2027 St. Patrick’s Parade. For the Scottish, it recognizes the anniversary of the first mass immigration of Scots to what is now Canada. The Landing of the Ship Hector took place in September of 1773 in Pictou, Nova Scotia.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

The stage will feature an amazing afternoon of Celtic music and dance. Local media personality Hugo Straney is returning as Master of Ceremonies. Doors will open at noon with programming running between 12:30-7pm.

The final schedule will be posted closer to event day. Sunday’s lineup will include:

  • 12:00pm – Doors open
  • 12:30pm – Opening ceremonies
  • 1:00pm – Maddie Ringo & Finbar Wall
  • 2:00pm – Aspects of Dance Highland Team
