2024-05-18 | 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm    Rivoli (332 Queen St West)

Come celebrate World Whisky Day with a brilliant night of Celtic music featuring Michael Darcy & The Atlantic Tramps alongside Loch Ontario. This is primarily a standing room room show with very limited seating.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door (while quantities last). Doors open at 7:30pm with Loch Ontario taking the stage at 8:00pm for two 45-minute sets. The Atlantic Tramps will follow at 10:00pm.

Michael Darcy packed up his guitar in 2010 to chase adventure on the other side of the ocean. Upon arriving in Toronto, he fell in with three like-minded musicians who would become The Atlantic Tramps. From soulful ballads to roof-raising barnstormers, they whisk their audiences up to the rafters and down to the roots.

Loch Ontario are a dynamic trio making their own brew of Celtic music. Andy Sharp is the main singing voice as well as guitar accompaniment. He originally hails from the Scottish town of Hamilton in South Lanarkshire but has called Toronto home for nearly  decade. Billy Boulet draws on his Scottish heritage as the piper while Chris Murray brings the Cape Breton fiddle tradition.

May 18th is World Whisky Day! Glenfiddich 14 will be on special all night. Come raise a glass to one of Scotland’s most famous distilleries!
