Rabbie Burns Dinner

2022-01-21 | 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm    University Club of Toronto

After an interval of nearly two years, we are delighted to once again be holding our traditional Burns Dinner in conjunction with the University Club of Toronto. Come and join us in banishing the mid-winter blahs with some “richt guid” cheer! The event follows the time-honoured format with the Address to a Haggis, The Immortal Memory and Toasts to the Lassies and Laddies. John Ivison will be our guest speaker and musical entertainment will be provided by Old Man Flanagan’s Ghost.

This event is open to the public. Tickets will be available through Eventbrite through the link below. Tickets (inclusive of wine) are $125 for members of the St. Andrew’s Society and the University Club of Toronto. The price for non-members is $135. Owing to “social distancing” considerations, numbers will be restricted to approximately 75% of capacity for the Club venue, so avoid disappointment and get your tickets early!

The event will be subject to the appropriate COVID-19 protocols mandated by the Ontario Government. Specifics will be confirmed in the coming weeks but you can be assured that the Society in conjunction with the Club will apply these in the most appropriate manner to ensure the safety of our guests. The University Club requires proof of full vaccination (no exceptions are permitted at this time) and that masks be worn until seated at the table.

Note: University Club members should apply directly through the Club please
